Bloomingdale Skateboarding Lessons

Fall 2026 · Ages 3–5, 5–7, 8–13

What to Know

Bloomingdale Park District
Location: Roselle Skate Park
Register through: Bloomingdale Park District

Bloomingdale Park District's skateboarding lessons are held at Roselle Skate Park. If you're coming from Bloomingdale, registration is completed through the Bloomingdale Park District website even though class itself happens at the Roselle location. Registration isn't open yet for Fall 2026 — the link below takes you to the district's site so you can check current status.

We bring loaner skateboards — including foam practice boards for our youngest riders — so nobody needs to own gear before their first class. Groups are kept small and split by ability, not just age, so beginners and more experienced skaters both get real coaching time.

This is an official Bloomingdale Park District program. Registration is completed through the district's own registration site — the button below takes you there.

Ages 3–5

A gentle, playful introduction to balance and movement using foam practice boards built for little riders. This is often a child's very first time on wheels — that's exactly what it's built for.

Ages 5–7 & 8–13

Real skatepark time with coaching on stance, pushing, turning, and their first tricks, grouped with kids at a similar level. We bring an athlete tent, water, and stickers — good vibes are part of the program.
