Ages 3–5, 5–7, 8–13 · Hampe Park Skate Park
Hampe Park's skate features sit within a 21-acre park with soccer fields and two playgrounds. The skate area itself is Woodward-built, with two quarter pipes, a bank, an A-frame, rails, and a skate bench on a smooth riding surface — a great layout for beginners, with plenty of shade around the park.
We bring loaner skateboards — including foam practice boards for our youngest riders — so nobody needs to own gear before their first class. Groups are kept small and split by ability, not just age, so beginners and more experienced skaters both get real coaching time.

Young skaters are introduced to the basics of skateboarding in a safe, supportive environment. Lessons focus on balance, standing on the board, pushing, and simple beginner tricks, with hands-on instruction to help build confidence riding small ramps.
